Gambian and Albanians brawl in German refugee centre

 

A gang of asylum seekers from Gambia brawled with a group of Albanians at a refugee centre in Germany in the latest shocking violence to hit the nation.

Three people were left injured and taken to hospital after the brawl erupted at 12pm on Thursday at the Patrick Henry village outside of Heidelberg. A 22-year-old and 58-year-old who say they were attacked with iron rods have been left with injuries to their head and upper body. They are being treated at a hospital in Heidelberg, along with a 28-year-old who was also beaten with an iron rod.

 

Two people have been arrested. A total of twelve patrol cars and two police dog teams eventually managed to calm the situation down. 

 

Police are now investigating crimes, including dangerous bodily harm.
