The rally from Montenegro to Brussels made a stop in Macedonia. On the meetings in Skopje writes rally’s curator, journalist and activist Marko Milacic.
“The issue of NATO expansion concerns not only the countries in the Balkans. There is antidemocratic approach to this issue worldwide”, Milacic said at a meeting with member of the Macedonian Assembly Ivan Stoikovic, adding that their rally is a struggle for the democratic solution for Montenegro – a nationwide referendum on NATO membership.
“The authorities must respect the will of the people”, agreed Stoikovic.
The rally began at the weekend. Its goal to convey to the representatives of NATO directly in Brussels that Montenegro needs a referendum on joining NATO.
