Progress on the implementation of the agreements between the leaders of the “Normandy format” is absent, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“Normandy format” has reviewed the status of implementation of the agreements, which the presidents of Russia, France, Ukraine and the German Chancellor had reached in November in Berlin.
We have been given appropriate instructions, both on establishment of safety zones, on gradual sequential building of such zones at the contact line, and unconditional withdrawal of heavy weapons, as it had to be done, on establishment the regular monitoring of the OSCE Mission in security zones at the contact line, and those places of storage of heavy weapons”, Lavrov said at a press conference on the results of the meeting on Ukraine in the “Normandy format”.
“Today, we have noted that unfortunately big results were not reached”, said the Minister.
