Majlis* (outlawed in Russia) militants staged a skirmish in the Kherson region of Ukraine, near the Crimean border, reported former MP Alexei Zhuravko.
“There was a conflict between the locals and Tatar battalion which behave outrageously in the region. According to the resirents, there was a skirmish, as a result of which one person was killed, one injured. The chief of the regional police department went to visit the scene”, Zhuravko said.
“Witnesses say that the representatives of the Tatar battalion began to pester to the people driving through. One of them was beaten up. As a result, the victims called the National Guard, which stood up for the victims. Someone from the Tatar battalion pulled up a gun and opened fire”, he added.
