Minsk agreements must remain in the center of East Ukraine settlement efforts regardless of the recent “escalation” of the situation surrounding Crimea, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Monday.
“I am certain that possibilities are present to implement the political package. This concerns the local elections law, amnesty and special status. We can move these matters forward,” Steimeier said at the Ural Federal University in Russia’s Yekaterinburg.
