Judoka Travis Stevens who yield the championship to the Russian Hassan Khalmurzaev in the final match of the Olympics in the category up to 81 kg, thanked the Russian national team for the joint trainings.
“The Russian team has been very kind to me, gave an opportunity for joint training, without which I would never have made it to the medal in Rio, – Stevens said. – We are like brothers with the Russians. Judo, in general, is a special kind of sports. Everyone is always ready to come to the aid for each other. It’s a real brotherhood”.
