Cemetery of Soviet soldiers desecrated in the Polish city of Kielce, informs a portal onet.pl.
On the graves torn and broken several headstones. Only 5 desecrated tombstones, three of them are probably beyond repair.
“At the place were police officers and forensic experts who have examined and collected evidence. We also interviewed local residents. We are still looking for a responsible, as in previous acts of vandalism in this cemetery,” — said the representative of the local police Damian Janus.
The last time the graves of Soviet soldiers in the same cemetery was desecrated in late July. In the cemetery are buried Soviet soldiers who died since 1945, fighting in the area from the Nazi invaders.
Local authorities promise to restore order to the cemetery and intend to ask for financial support for the restoration of the graves of the commander of the świętokrzyskie province.
