President of the Latvian Paralympic Committee Daiga Dadzite has condemned the decision of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) to exclude all Russian athletes from participation in the tournament in Rio de Janeiro.
“Today the president of the Lithuanian Paralympic Committee called me, we both decided that excluding of all athletes (from Russia) is wrong. I know many Russian athletes very well, they are very good guys who train and do not take doping”, she said.
Dadzite indicates that the decision may be changed before the start of the tournament, because not all states support it.
