The Russian Foreign Ministry reports about significant casualties among the civilian population of the Manbij city in Aleppo province, surrounded by the “Syrian Democratic Forces” with the support of the coalition headed by the United States.
SDF are now almost completely blocked the city of Manbij. Intense fighting in residential areas of the city causes a large number of civilian casualties. And US Air Force along with coalition conducts airstrikes not so much on ISIS objects as on areas of the city, – wrote Maria Zakharova on her Facebook page.
“According to available information, since the beginning of operations in Manbij since July 19, the US Air Force and coalition aircrafts conducted more than 90 air strikes on the urban quarters resulting in the most conservative estimates hundreds of killed and thousands wounded”, – she stressed.
