Deputy of the French National Assembly Thierry Mariani is sure that the condition of the Crimean Tatars has improved in comparison with the period when the Crimea was a part of Ukraine.
Two issues are actively discussed in Europe: the missing and the problem of the Crimean Tatars. During the last two meetings we have seen that in those matters the situation has improved when it comes to the period when the Crimea was a part of Ukraine. I believe that this is more a question of propaganda. In my opinion, it’s better to be a Crimean Tatar than the Russian in one of the Baltic countries.
Recall that the French delegation will stay in Crimea until July 31, 2016. They will meet the local authorities, and they take part in the celebration of the Navy Day in Sevastopol.
