Donald Trump opened up a new line of attack against Hillary Clinton on Monday night.
The presumptive GOP nominee called Clinton’s temperament into question, referencing anecdotes from a former Secret Service agent about her behavior in the White House during Bill Clinton’s tenure as president.

In the tweet, Trump was referencing Gary Byrne, a former Secret Service agent who wrote a memoir on his experiences in the White House during Bill Clinton’s presidency. The book is slated for release June 28. Page Six reports that the book references Clinton behaving aggressively and even violently.
The Clinton camp rebuked Byrne and rejected his claims.
“Gary Byrne joins the ranks of Ed Klein and other ‘authors’ in this latest in a long line of books attempting to cash in on the election cycle with their nonsense,” Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. “It should be put in the fantasy section of the book store.”
Earlier in June, after Clinton attacked Trump’s temperament, the real-estate mogul went on the defensive.
“My temperament is so much tougher and so much better than her temperament,” Trump said.
