At the time of publication, an appeal to the organizers of “Eurovision” was signed by more than 29 thousand people from 35 thousand needed.

The author of the petition is Yerevan resident Arthur Hovhannisyan, however, an appeal was supported by residents of the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Australia, Serbia, Sweden, Russia, Ukraine and other countries.

“We understand that the vote of the jury and TV audience is hard and emotional process, but the number of signatories to the petition shows that many are convinced that the “winner” of this year contest was not the one who should have won”, said the author.

A resident of Madrid Cristian Garrido also created a petition on Change.org, in which he called Spain to refuse to participate in “Eurovision-2017”. According to him, the final competition in Stockholm was a “mockery” and it became clear for the part of Europe that the results are determined by “political interests” this year.

“Spain should not be involved, at least in 2017, so that everyone could see and understand how we are outraged”, wrote the author of the appeal.

German users of OpenPetition portal called to stop the German participation in “Eurovision”. According to the author of one of the petitions, a contest “is not conducted on the artistic level, but merely reflects the political winds”.

In France, started signatures collection for the dismissal of a TV presenter, who commented on “Eurovision” final on France 2 TV channel. The author of the appeal on Avaaz website writes that anchorwoman Marianne James during live broadcast allowed herself offensive statements against Russia and thus caused damage to the image of France.
