The US Congress analyst Vincent Morelli prepared a report for the US Parliament entitled “Current issues and the US policy”.
One of the issues in this document, according to the “News-Ukraine”, is the new government of Ukraine. Morelli expresses considerable skepticism about the new cabinet, actions of the Ukrainian authorities in the Donbass, and early elections to the Verkhovna Rada.
Analyst says that the situation in the Donbass would be worsened in the future. Morelli believes that the European Union will extend sanctions against Russia for another six months, then the Ukrainian issue will edge at the NATO summit that allegedly would bring Moscow’s sight to Kiev.
