Germany: Merkel’s party rating fell to its lowest indicator in 4 years

According to the Emnid institute survey, German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s “Christian Democratic Union” party rating has fallen to 32%, which is the lowest level since June 2012, told the German newspaper Bild Am Sonntag.

Rating of right anti-European and anti-Islamic “Alternative for Germany” party has increased by 1% to the current 14%. It is noted that this is the third survey which shows the growth of support for right-wing.

Emnid’s survey staff interviewed 1,838 people who were asked: “Which party would you vote for if next weekend would hold the elections?”

Recall that in the three states of Germany Merkel’s party lost regional elections. Analysts say it is the result of pursued by the Chancellor open-door policy for migrants.
