Donald Trump’s Taco Bowl exposes hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton

Jacob Hornberger, president of the Future of Freedom Foundation, corrects the record on Hillary Clinton, who voted for the current “Berlin fence” on the southern border and the war on immigrants waged by both the left and the right.

But in any event, Clinton pounces on and sends out a tweet that reminds people that Trump wants to deport all 12 million illegal immigrants, but let’s face it, the hypocrisy goes in both directions here — Democrat and Republican. I mean, Clinton can sit there as a liberal and say, ‘oh, I love the poor and needy and disadvantaged,’ you know, as manifested by the welfare dole that she wants to put everybody on.

But the fact is that she and her liberal ilk have been waging the war on immigrants for as long as the Republicans have. I’ve seen this first hand. I grew up on the Texas-Mexico border. They’ve been rounding up people since the 1950s and putting them in jail and deporting them for just wanting to come over here and work, get a job, improve their lives, save the lives of their families.

And let’s not forget, Clinton’s boss, President Obama, is the great deporter in chief. He’s deported more people than any other president. How’s that different from Trump in principle? Does Clinton criticize that? Nope, her lips are sealed, just like they’re sealed with respect to that Berlin fence down there that they built. I thought that was supposed to solve all the problems, but she’s always remained silent on that or maybe even supportive of it, including the stealing of people’s property to put that fence up. And then there’s all the enforcement mechanisms, the highway checkpoints and stuff that have turned the Southwest into a police state.

There’s really only one approach that is consistent with moral principles, the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, and free market principles, and the poem at the base of the Statue of Liberty. And that’s open immigration, the free movements of people across borders.
