Still, over 7,000 migrants and refugees, are still waiting for their data to be processed in the centers on the Greek islands of Lesbos, Chios, and Leros, in accordance with the EU-Turkey Agreement, which is implemented very slowly after it went in effect on March 20.

Around 2,000 of 7,044 refugees who are stranded on the islands, are situated in open accommodation centers or have been released from the centers after the 25-day deadline expiration, after filing asylum requests and their demands have not been met.
