German politicians go on contact with Russia, despite remaining adamant stance of Chancellor Angela Merkel on the issue of anti-Russian sanctions, says Tagesspiegel.

As the newspaper notes, in Moscow regularly visited by representatives of the political and economic circles of Germany. So, one of the first who dared to depart from the official rate of the country has become the Prime Minister of Bavaria Horst Seehofer. Then he was followed by the Prime Minister of Thuringia Bodo Ramelow.

 

In addition, the newspaper recalls organized with the support of the German-Russian Forum visit of German deputies to the State Duma, where they met Speaker Sergei Naryshkin who fell under sanctions. And recently representatives of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations also visited Moscow and spoke out against the sanctions.
