In Brussels, activists from Montenegro mounted a memory campaign for the victims of NATO air attacks on the train Belgrade – Thessaloniki during the bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999, on April 12. Then at least 15 civilians were killed.
The youngest of the victims was six years old. Also on the train was traveling a young couple expecting a child.
Organizers of the event are leaders of the movement “No to War – No to NATO” Gojko Raicevic and Igor Damjanovic. On the Brussels square was put a photo of an attacked train, lay flowers and lighted candles.
According to Damjanovic, civilian trains after the NATO aggression were attacked only by terrorist organizations.
The action was joined by other residents and visitors of Brussels. They brought flowers as well as their national flags in a sign of support. Russian flag has also appeared in a final footage.
