Foreign ministers of Japan and Italy Fumio Kishida and Paolo Gentiloni underscore importance of continue dialog with Russia but with simultaneously maintained sanctions against it, Japan’s Foreign Ministry said on Sunday after talks between Kishida and Gentiloni.
“Foreign ministers of both nations are of one mind that full implementation of Minsk agreements on the part of Russia and Ukraine is required to improve the situation in Ukraine,” Japan’s Foreign Ministry said. “Speaking about relations with Russia, the parties share the opinion regarding importance of continuing the dialog with Russia with maintained sanctions,” the ministry added.
