The Netherlands intend to announce the official results of the referendum on the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on April 12. This was told by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ambassador-at-large Dmitry Kuleba during a press-club.
“According to the Dutch law, the final results should be announced on April 12”, he said. He also added that the results of exit polls would be known in the evening of April 6.
Kuleba noted that the Dutch government will take a final decision on the results of the referendum.
Referendum is advisory in nature, and its results are not binding on the Government of the Netherlands. However, experts point out that the will of the Dutch may affect the political position with regard to Ukraine in the EU.
