Sevastopol to receive 85 million rubles from the federal government to build stadium and sporting complex

This year Sevastopol is to receive 85 million rubles in the framework of the Federal Target Program “Development of Physical Culture and Sport in 2016-2020 in Russian Federation”, the head of the Department for Youth and Sports Ruslan Savchenko stated.

“In general, the federal program takes into account mass sporting facilities which don’t cost more than 100 million rubles. Crimea and Sevastopol are in higher-priority conditions now. We were allocated more money. In 2016 we will receive 85 million rubles for the reconstruction of the Gornyak football stadium and the sports complex of the 200th Anniversary of Sevastopol, where a 50-meter swimming pool is planned to be built,” Tass cites him as saying.
