Donetsk Court of the Rostov region convicts Ukrainian nationalist from “Aidar” battalion Nadezhda Savchenko for murder of VGTRK employees Igor Korneliuk and Anton Voloshin as well as in illegal crossing of the border between Russia and Ukraine. The judge sentenced the defendant to 22 years in prison and a fine of 30,000 rubles.
“Savchenko had committed a murder on preliminary arrangement by group of individuals on the grounds of hatred and enmity”, – said the judge.
The court decided to discontinue the criminal proceedings against Savchenko on charges of murderous assault of six civilians from Lugansk region, as this issue is outside the jurisdiction of the Russian court.
