Klimkin to discuss with Dutch MPs the upcoming referendum

 

Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin on March 21 met with a delegation of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee MPs of the Dutch Parliament. The parties discussed the advantages of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

The focus of the meeting was the question of the consultative referendum in the Netherlands on the occasion of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

 

“Ukrainian and Netherlands sides have exchanged views on the benefits of the Agreement for the citizens of Ukraine, as well as the Dutch and residents of EU Member States, in the context of the spread of European values and the expansion of economic cooperation opportunities,” – said in a statement.

 

As noted, Klimkin has also raised the issue of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, noting that it is based on is the desire of the Kremlin at all costs to stop the European development of Ukraine.
