The President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker has stated said that Ukraine won’t become part of the EU and NATO soon.
“Without any doubts Ukraine won’t be able to join the EU and become NATO member during the next 20-25 years,” he said, speaking in The Hague on the 14th Norbert Shmelzera readings.
“The EU needs a long pause before taking new Member States. This does not apply to the Balkan countries despite the fact that the EU has already been negotiating for their membership,” Tass cites Juncker as saying.
