2 killed, 12 injured in north of Afghanistan explosion

 

At least two people were killed and 12 others wounded in an explosion in Maimana, capital of Afghanistan’s northern province of Faryab on Wednesday, hospital sources said.

 

According to the reports the explosion was occurred as a result of a magnetic mine placed in a bicycle near a private bank.

 

Maroof Samar, chief of Faryab hospital confirmed that they have received two dead bodies and 12 injuries mainly civilians from the site of the explosion.

 

Security officials have yet to comment about the incident.

 

No group including the Taliban insurgents group have claimed the responsibility of the attack yet.
