The Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade announced the liquidation of Antonov on 26 January.
“The government has adopted a resolution on the liquidation of the State Aircraft Building Concern Antonov due to lack of participants, as the three companies which constituted the concern, were in March and June 2015 transferred to the State Concern Ukroboronprom,” according to the communiqué of the press service.
The Ukrainian Cabinet has instructed the ministry to establish a commission to oversee the liquidatation of the company.
