LIVE: Anti-government rally in Podgorica, Montenegro

 

Today, on Jan. 24 in Montenegro will be held the vote of confidence to the Government of Milo Djukanovic. If the vote is successful, the country will sooner or later be in NATO. However, Montenegrins who are tired of corrupt authorities took to Podgorica streets to protest against current government.

In order to current government remains in power, it is necessary to have votes of at least 41 MPs. The government coalition is represented by 44 MPs, 5 of them are members of the Social Democratic Party, who said they are not intend to vote for the government’s confidence.
