The Chinese Parliament has adopted the first law on the fight against terrorism. Thus, the authorities will be able to use the country’s army in anti-terrorist operations abroad.
The law obliges providers of telephony and the Internet to convey codes for data encryption, as well as provide special services passwords to the Chinese authorities. In addition, telecommunications companies will have to convey their card processing server containing the personal data of Chinese citizens in the country, RBC reports.
Recall that the US authorities criticized the anti-terrorism law in China.
