On Thursday, the Lebanese army managed to ambush and kill three terrorists from the Syrian al-Qaeda group “Jabhat al-Nusra” at the Wadi Hmayid area of the Arsal barrens before its troops pulled the corpses.
In a different context, NNA said that a joint contingent from the Lebanese Army and General Security Forces raided a house for an arrested citizen at the village of Rama in the Akkar District – an explosive belt was discovered at the home.
A Lebanese Army Sapper was able to dismantle the explosive materials inside the house – no casualties were reported.
