First of all, let’s clarify that this is not about any medications or something else what can be carry as humanitarian aid.
In point of fact, the confirmation that the convoy belonged to the IHH (IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation) is disclosure itself. For those not in the know, IHH organization is just known for smuggling weapons under the guise of humanitarian assistance.
Let’s turn to evidences.
2010, Israel
Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Israeli special forces met fierce resistance when trying to board a vessel which tried to break the blockade of Gaza in 2010. Were intercepted six ships.
Aggressive IHH fighters met Special Forces soldiers shouting they were quite willing to die for Islam.
Israeli “Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center” explicitly says that under the guise of charity IHH fund has been supporting radical Islamic cells and organizations, including Hamas. In fact, IHH is logistics support of militants around the world.
1997, Turkey
In Turkish IHH office was made a search, during which the police found firearms, explosives and instructions for making improvised explosive devices. The discovered documents indicated that the IHH was planning to commit terrorist acts in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Chechnya.
Finally, IHH is closely linked to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This is evidenced by documents found on the captured ship in 2010.
2014, Turkey
Police of small Turkish province of Hatay stopped a truck which moved towards the Turkish border. The truck belonged to IHH but inside, instead of humanitarian aid were found “absolutely” not children’s toys.
Following the discovery of arms began to occur strangeness. Hatay’s prosecutor had tried to launch an investigation, but it turned out to be blocked immediately. Once he has filed a complaint against the Interior Ministry and the Turkish Intelligence Service (MIT), which blocked the investigation, he… was resigned! Police officers who stopped that calamitous truck were also been fired.
Below you can see the video from cargo screening, owned by MIT-IHH. The truck itself was moving to the Syrian border and was accidentally stopped by the police. Inspectors opened metal boxes and under a thin layer of medicines was found a huge amount of ammunition and shells.
1000 mortar shells, 80,000 bullets, more than a hundred shells for grenade launchers and more.
Video was published by Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet on May 29, 2015.
After the publication Erdoğan announced that trucks were secret Turkish intelligence operation, journalists were called spies and the one who shot the video would “pay a high price”.
In other words, IHH works closely with radical Islamic organizations around the world as well as with Turkish secret services, compliting logistical tasks. It was already caught on smuggling weapons under the guise of humanitarian aid and the last case associated with this, occurred only six months ago, just near with Syrian border.
