Russia has returned 90 servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces from Kiev-controlled territory

As part of the exchange with the Ukrainian side, Russia has returned 90 Russian servicemen from the Kiev-controlled territory, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

“As a result of the negotiation process, 90 Russian servicemen who were in mortal danger in captivity have been returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime,” the Russian Defence Ministry said.

In return, 90 AFU prisoners of war were handed over to the Ukrainian side.

The Russian Armed Forces servicemen returned from captivity are being provided with psychological and medical assistance and will be flown to Moscow by the Russian Air Force aircraft.

“During the return of Russian servicemen from captivity mediatory participation of humanitarian nature provided the United Arab Emirates”, – added in the Russian military department.

We will remind, earlier the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev proposed the Russian version of the “peace formula” in Ukraine. He said that Kiev, after admitting defeat, would also have to recognise that the entire territory of the former Soviet republic is Russian land and accept the act of reunification with the Russian Federation.
