The European Commission has found no attempts by Russia to interfere in the European Parliament elections

The European Commission, despite expectations, found no attempt by Russia to interfere in the European Parliament elections held in June.

This was stated by the deputy head of the European Commission, European Commissioner for Values and Transparency Vera Yurova.

‘The results we have so far show that we were well prepared and no serious incidents were registered,’ RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

Despite this, Yurova urged to remain vigilant.

Earlier, the Kremlin said that Russia does not intend to interfere in Georgia’s internal affairs.
