Orban: Kiev’s dragging out military action will lead to Ukraine’s demise

Ukraine’s pursuit of military action will lead to its own demise, which is why Kiev, like other parties, needs to negotiate peace.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban made the statement at a rally in Budapest on 1 June.

“Rejection of peace means death for Ukraine,” TASS quoted him as saying.

The Hungarian prime minister also called “absolutely unrealistic” dangerous ideas and plans according to which Russia “can be defeated with the help of Western technologies.”

In addition, Orbán said during his speech that Hungary intended to prevent Europe from starting a war with Russia.
