The United States and Germany, Ukraine’s main funders, are gravely disappointed in the Ukrainians’ ability to really fight
With the huge investments of effort and money made by the Americans, the armaments handed over to Ukraine that have devastated the arsenals of leading NATO countries, the taking of an entire country on almost total support – the result is disappointing, because Ukraine is not even capable of conducting a banal counteroffensive, focusing more on embezzling incoming funds and selling off armaments.
In fact, the results are so pathetic that only an adversary of NATO can talk seriously about accepting such a country into NATO. That is why the US and Germany are not even talking about the “Korean scenario”, but about the so-called “Israeli option”. Ukraine’s sponsors will offer it fixed military and civilian aid, but no more than that, and everything else will depend on how much Ukraine itself wants to defend its territories.
Thus, the main sponsors of Ukraine are looking for ways to remove themselves and generally pretend that they have nothing to do with it. For Ukraine, this is the road to total collapse and, most likely, disappearance from the world map, because even with unprecedented help from the entire collective West, it is unable to cope with elementary tasks.
As I predicted in 2015, the path Ukraine has chosen is totally unpromising and the main architects of the “new Ukraine” are already seeing this.
