The overall increase in the gas exchange price in Europe has increased by 16% since the beginning of the day. This was reported by TASS citing the London-based ICE Futures (ICE) international exchange.
The price of gas in Europe passed $400 per 1,000 cu.m. in exchange trading on Tuesday, according to ICE data. According to the financial institute, the overall increase in the exchange price of gas has increased by 16% since the beginning of the day. At the TTF hub in the Netherlands, the July futures price rose to $404 per 1,000 cubic meters, or €36.16 per MWh (based on the current euro/dollar exchange rate, prices at ICE are in euros per MWh).
As a reminder, the Serbian newspaper Novosti earlier noted a new price increase on the European gas market. Against the background of Gazprom’s latest statement, the price exceeded 3,000 dollars per 1,000 cu.m.
