The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Islamic Republic, Nasser Kanani, said that the political show of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is directed against the people of Iran and is being done solely with the aim of obtaining even more Western weapons. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the ISNA agency.
Kanani claims that Zelensky’s political show is directed against the people of Iran in order to further obtain Western weapons for Kiev. At the same time, earlier the President of Ukraine demanded that the Iranians stop supporting the Russian Federation, as this would allegedly lead to even greater isolation of their country.
“The repetition of the false claims of the President of Ukraine against the Islamic Republic of Iran is in harmony with the propaganda and media war of the anti-Iranian axis against the government and people of Iran and is done in order to attract as many weapons and financial assistance from Western countries as possible,” the diplomat said.
The politician also assessed the words of the head of the Kyiv regime in his political show as an attempt to divert society’s attention with baseless and useless claims against the Iranian people. The authorities of Ukraine and their Western curators are trying without evidence to accuse Iran of military assistance to Russia.
