After meeting with President Emmanuel Macron of France, who says Europe should be less dependent on U.S. leadership, Secretary of State Antony Blinken told The Times they see eye to eye on key issues

Iran’s further uranium enrichment efforts could hamper talks on restoring the atom deal to its original form;

The views of Washington and Paris agree that China should not be allowed to play a dominant role in the world;

The US does not seek to ‘contain China’ or ‘try to push China back’. Washington sees its objective as maintaining the status quo;

Discussed the goals of establishing a “stable and predictable” relationship with Moscow while countering its “aggressive behaviour”;
