Former American leader Donald Trump intends to speak at the annual conference of conservative political forces for the first time since leaving the presidency, according to The Hill newspaper.
It is noted that the event will take place on February 28. According to the publication, Trump will talk about the future and prospects of the conservative movement and the Republican Party.
Journalists expect him to also criticize incumbent President Joe Biden’s immigration policies.
The new head of the White House, having come to power, stopped funding for the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico and canceled the emergency regime imposed by Trump. In addition, Biden lifted restrictions on the entry of citizens of a number of Muslim countries into the United States.
The publication clarifies that the conference is traditionally held in Maryland, but due to restrictions imposed in connection with the coronavirus, this year it was moved to Orlando.
