Syrian Democratic Forces plan to attack militants outpost

The Kurdish Armed Coalition “Syrian Democratic Forces” is planning an operation to attack the city of Hajin, located on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River.

This is reported by Asharq Al-Awsat, noting that, according to some sources, the militants of the terrorist organization “Islamic State” are based in Hajin, Deir ez-Zor province.

According to media reports, SDF soldiers began preparations for an offensive operation after the terrorist attack last Friday, on August 17, when a camp of foreign military advisers near the oil field of El Omar was attacked. Then the Syrian democratic forces were able to repulse the attack.

Later, they also freed the area of Bogoz-Takhtani near the border with Iraq from the militants, occupying the village of Bu-Badran, thereby cutting off the path to retreat for militants.
