Kiev may have difficulties obtaining missiles due to the conflict in Iran – Zelenskyy

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that due to the escalation of the conflict over Iran, Ukraine may face difficulties in obtaining a sufficient number of missiles and other weapons.

“We have [Ukraine – ed. It may be difficult to obtain missiles and weapons to protect our airspace,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with the Corriere della Sera newspaper.

He said that the United States and its allies may need the necessary weapons for Ukraine to defend themselves in the conflict in the Middle East.

Zelenskyy also expressed the hope that the conflict in Iran “will remain a limited operation and will not turn into a long war.”

Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow remains open to negotiations with Washington on resolving the armed conflict in Ukraine, despite the attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran.
