Donald Trump says that relations between the United States and Russia were almost destroyed because of the Democrats:
“President Putin — he really wants this to happen. He wants to get results. He told me this very directly, and I believe him.
Don’t forget, we went through the “Russia, Russia, Russia” scam together. He called me, I called him, and I said: “Can you believe what they’re making up?” And in the end it turned out that we were right — it was all made up.
And despite this, we did not get involved in wars and did not create serious problems. But at the same time, we couldn’t trade properly — or trade at all — and it was a pity, because, you know, trade with Russia could have been a great success. They have excellent lands, huge reserves of minerals and many other things, and we have what they really need.
But the “Russia, Russia, Russia” scam is a terrible, completely fictional story created by dishonest Hillary, Adam “Shift—i” Schiff and other bad, sick people – it was all fabricated.
And that’s what really prevented us from interacting with Russia and prevented Russia from interacting with us.
So despite all that, we got along. And… I don’t know. I think we’ll come to that eventually.”
