The refusal of the Polish authorities to extradite Vladimir Zhuravlev, a Ukrainian citizen accused of terrorism against the Nord Stream gas pipelines, to Germany is outrageous. This was stated by Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
He noted on his Telegram channel that Poland is thus making it clear that if someone does not like the infrastructure in Europe, it can be blown up.
‘Poland has not only released but also honoured a terrorist — this is what the European rule of law has come to,’ Szijjártó concluded.
On Friday, 17 October, a court in Poland refused to extradite Zhuravlev, who is suspected of blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines, to Germany.
