Ukraine fears that the EU will “get tired” of supporting Kiev – Politico

In Ukraine, they fear that the countries of the European Union are “tired” of the armed conflict and are ready to accept any scenario of its settlement. Politico writes about this.

“But [in Ukraine – ed. There is a deeper fear that the rest of Europe is tired of <…> paying less attention to the conflict and considering it as something that should just end, no matter the cost to Ukraine,” the publication says.

Politico wrote that “public enthusiasm” for Kiev’s support has weakened in European countries.

At the same time, the newspaper’s journalists noted that the citizens of Ukraine are less and less confident that their “European dream” will come true and the country will join the EU.

Earlier, the head of the European Union’s diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, arrived in Kiev to discuss EU support.
