The Russian side has handed over official materials relating to the investigation into the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy to the United States, according to US Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna.
Anna Paulina Luna said that Russian Ambassador to the US Alexander Darchiev handed her a 350-page report with the findings of the Russian investigation into the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
According to the congresswoman, the US authorities have been trying to obtain these materials since the 1990s.
‘A group of experts will arrive at my office in the morning to begin translating and thoroughly studying the documents. We will publish them as soon as we can. Thank you all again,’ Luna wrote on social network X.
The politician noted that she plans to publish the materials she has received together with American journalist Jefferson Morley, known for his work on US history, in particular his books on the CIA and the Kennedy assassination.
Earlier, the Russian State Duma ratified an agreement on military cooperation with Cuba.
