US President Donald Trump has stated that he is prepared to lift sanctions on Iran when Tehran returns to negotiations with the aim of concluding an agreement.
“I believe Iran will agree to this. They have suffered defeat and need help. Serious sanctions, you know, impressive sanctions. I would be happy to lift the sanctions if they are ready for dialogue,” Donald Trump told reporters in Sharm el-Sheikh.
According to the American leader, Iran has already been “beaten” and allegedly needs help, which is why it will eventually agree to the United States’ demands to lift sanctions.
Earlier, the Islamic Republic of Iran suspended its agreement on cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
