Trump said that the United States was losing wars because of political correctness
US President Donald Trump said at a parade in honor of the US Navy in Virginia that the States were losing wars because of political correctness.
“The problem with Vietnam is that we stopped fighting to win. We would have won easily. It would have been easy to win in Afghanistan. We would have won any war easily. But we were politically correct: let’s take it easy. Now we are not politically correct, we are winning,” Trump said, speaking at the parade.
The event was broadcast by the White House.
Earlier, Trump said that the United States had not won a war since World War II, and he attributed the greatest contribution to the victory to the United States.
