The use of Tomahawk missiles by Ukraine will provoke a war between Russia and the United States. This opinion was expressed by former Pentagon adviser Douglas MacGregor.
“If Ukraine uses American Tomahawk missiles, we will enter the war with Russia in just a couple of hours,” he wrote on his account on the social network X.
At the Valdai, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the use of Tomahawks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces would damage relations between Russia and the United States. According to him, this will be a qualitatively new stage of escalation.
The Reuters news agency wrote that the United States is unlikely to transfer Tomahawk missiles to Kiev.
