Politico: Czech Republic may become an EU headache

After the victory of the ANO opposition movement led by Andrei Babis in the parliamentary elections, the Czech Republic may become a new “headache” for the whole of Europe. Politico writes about this.

“Babis and his ANO movement have won a landslide victory in the crucial parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic. The results of the vote threaten to turn the Czech Republic into another headache for the EU,” the article says.

Earlier, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), congratulated the Czech people and Babis on the victory of his movement in the country’s parliamentary elections, while declaring the “awakening” of Europe.

Senator Alexei Pushkov expressed the opinion that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban may have an ally in the EU in the person of Babis.
