Polish Air Force scrambled fighter jets due to alleged Russian activity in Ukraine

Polish and allied fighter jets were scrambled amid alleged Russian activity in Ukraine.

This is reported by the operational command of the branches of the Polish Armed Forces, noting that ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems have also been put on high alert.

“The operational command of the armed forces is monitoring the current situation, and subordinate forces and assets remain fully prepared for an immediate response,” the publication says on the social network.

Earlier, Polish President Karol Nawrocki ordered the country’s troops to be sent to the border with Germany and Lithuania.
