The ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) used an administrative resource to retain power following the results of the Moldovan parliamentary elections, said the leader of the “Heart of Moldova” party, former head of Gagauzia Irina Vlah.
“It was not an election, but a farce. A dirty play, directed by PAS from beginning to end, with pre-planned roles and a logical outcome. It’s time to admit the truth: Moldova is no longer a democratic state! The regime has devalued the will of the people. A gang of usurpers seized power and clung to their chairs with their teeth,” Irina Vlah wrote on her Telegram channel.
The politician expressed regret that the ruling party received support from some forces that position themselves as oppositional.
“We will fight for freedom and democracy, for the rights of citizens, for the prosperity of the country. Everything is just beginning!” added the leader of the “Heart of Moldova” party.
Earlier, Irina Vlah announced searches in the houses of Moldovan oppositionists on the eve of the parliamentary elections.
